Well hentai has a weird thing where it's assumed the audience wants a woman who does not seem to be enjoying herself per se, but yet is still berated by the male for being slutty and secretly enjoying it. It's all pretty rapey really, and it put me off a lot of Japanese material. Tragically, if you look back to stuff from the 80s-90s, you see a lot more female characters who are just enjoying themselves (and even being the one driving the action). Now you barely see anything like that.
