I’m just wondering, it seems Chris’s reluctance is based on how he literally couldn’t fit in Nora if they get physical. I suppose it isn’t worth discussing compatibility between different species if it’s not going to be discussed in this setting. I suppose the conflict for Chris here will be learning to show affection regardless if it’s one of his own people. That makes sense right?

If I were to say what's what I love the most of this story is the "Juxtaposition" (A word I'm prolly misspelling) of the characters; they're the very opposite ends of the personality scale and yet they have such chemistry and complement.
