Death of Ink

Damn Estella looks good in the first panel.

This hits really close to home for me, and is one of the biggest reasons I like this comic so much. I had to help my mother with a similar situation after her father died (I wasn't close to him), seeing the emotion in her as we walked into the house that holds so much weight in her mind was a learning experience. I love how you have written these two, and how real the emotions can feel.

Ouch. Yep. Inheritance. So... they never made peace. Pity.

I dunno, we didn't see much of the dad, so we don't know any of the good times that existed, but there are some things you don't make peace with. If it were me, I'd want the closure and watch him squirm on his deathbed, if that's how he went, although it's more likely some drunken accident.

The old house, where so many terrible and sad things happened... Estella’s biography in the comic is quite clear, except for one thing - what happened to her mother? I look forward to the moment when we get an answer to this question.

I'm glad to hear to hear that the comic, or just scenes have meaning for you! This scene based on my feelings about a certain place I know in real life, but I just wanted to represent the feeling itself. Everyone has a place in his mind where it's always difficult to return. But even you feel it's not part of your life anymore it can make you feel uneasy.

I write this only to spare you from possible disappointments. The mother won't be in the comic and won't mentioned. ^ ^ ; If she ever and somewhere will be mentioned, it would be another story.
