"The Hatred That Connects Us"

[EDIT: Please don't ask me why Vyra didn't have wings, I'm just not strong enough to answer...]

So Abbie wanted to see a picture of Nigel and Vyra and how their hatred for everything could connect them. And then I thought, what if they hate everything, but they hate each other more than everything? And I found that pretty damn funny :D Also, as you can see, Nigel wants to ruin your day, but Vyra wants to ruin your life XD

Okay, but why can't they like each other AND try to ruin one another's day? Where getting one over on their best friend / rival (/ love of their life??) is the greatest accomplishment that they can think of because they recognize a nature similar to their own in one another. And when, inevitably, a trick goes too far and leaves one with a lasting affliction, the other doesn't hesitate to give them the care and assistance they need (all the while mocking them for falling for the trick and/or needing assistance, and being blamed in turn ("you did this to me!") for taking things too far knowing A) they'd do it again in a heartbeat and B) So would their partner).
