Nigel feeling sympathy, that's something 👀

Nigel has emotions. Nigel feels things for other people. But they're buried under, at this point, a lifetime of sarcasm and haughtiness that masks a deep pain over his parent's rejection of him. I think this might be what Luna was trying to get him to learn, both then and now, to look outside himself. But since his parents rejected him, the lesson got turned inward, and now this is the last chance for him to learn it to be what he needs to be for the path ahead.
