Hello hello sweeties!
How have you been? 🌺
Days are so intense as usual. These days not only with work, but I also have met some dear friends who really needed some company while they are struggling with hard moments. So again, a lot of things!

But I'm not here to talk about personal life! I'm also starting a small personal project of a one-shot manga. I hope I can tell more about it soon! 🌺

But I wanted to talk about doing manga with Clip Studio Paint. I'm still in process of learning properly how this program works, and I got a (Spanish) course in Domestika to have some advices about doing a manga.

In this course I learnt about two interesting layer effects this program have:

  • Layer Color: (4th icon) I always active this option (in blue or red) so all the layer wil turn into one of the tones chosen. This is definitely perfect to change the color of the sketch so line art is easier! And of course, you just need to activate/deactivate it when you want or don't want the effect!
  • Screentone (3rd icon). I'm still getting used to this. This option turns all the grayscale in small dots of black, so the layer is not completely filled. You can change the opacity of the layer and the density of the dots. I'm still in the process of learning about this so I hope I can get used to this soon!

This was just a little sneak peek of the process I'm following and the things I'm slowly learning!

Did you know about these icons? 🌺
