Perdón por las horas de publicar, pero me apetecía subir este pequeño cómic que he hecho en un par de horas antes de irme a dormir :) Una persona comentó en el último post the kalisdice_art que si en Kohr la gente lleva las piernas al aire durante el invierno, y de hecho, era una curiosidad que quería representar tarde o temprano. Así que he decidido dar vida a esa escena. En efecto, en Kohr, la ciudad de la que vienen Seban e Iris todo el mundo va con las piernas al descubierto en todas las épocas. Kohr es un pueblo de cazadores integrado en las montañas, donde tener unas piernas fuertes es esencial y supone un símbolo de poder. Es una deshonra taparse las piernas aquí, así que si, en invierno tampoco se ponen ropa.

Además, esta escena tiene lugar unos meses después de que Seban, Ronald y Vicky ingresaran en la Academia, cuando tenían entre 15 y 16 años. Se llevaban bien entre ellos pero aún tenían que pasar cosas para que entablaran esa amistad que tanto le une a Ronald y a Seban. Además, dejo entrever otras cuestiones:

• Vicky era la tercera integrante del grupo, y, aunque parezca un personaje totalmente secundario, tendrá una gran importancia en la vida de Seban.
• Ronald no trata a Marlène con el respecto que debería a su capitana. Es un chico muy problemático pero también precisamente por eso Marlène termina actuando como una madre para ellos en vez de una profesora.
• A Marlène le gusta probar cosas nuevas y no se conforma con métodos tradicionales. Esta apertura de mente justifica muchas cosas que pasarán después.
• Marlène y Marie (si estáis leyendo el cómic la habréis reconocido) se conocen bien. Tienen un pasado en común y una historia escrita que aparecerá en el cómic.

Y por último, todo esto me ha hecho pensar mucho en la historia que estoy escribiendo / dibujando. Siempre he sido una chica soñadora a la que le ha encantado imaginar historias de fantasía, y muchas han sido verdaderamente largas. Pero [Muraka Project] es, directamente, un universo. No solo he creado personajes con sus historias y sus pasados, también he pensado en las costumbres, en la flor y la fauna, en la comida, en las leyendas, en los datos históricos, incluso tengo una lista de plantas con sus propiedades curativas. No quiero decir ni mucho menos que esto sea algo único, todas las historias que he leído tenían un mundo muy desarrollado, así que es lo normal. Pero para mi es la primera vez que desarrollo una historia con tanto detalle. Es por eso que quiero hacerlo bien, y no quito correr. No aspiro a tener miles de lectores, simplemente, me gustaría que la gente que lo lee lo disfrute y se sumerja en la historia, y se identifique con los personajes.

Estoy acabando los exámenes y trabajos de este semestrese, y al siguiente espero tener más tiempo y dedicar bastantes horas semanales a desarrollar bien esta historia, tanto la novela como el cómic.

Sorry for the hours of publishing, but I wanted to upload this little comic that I made in a couple of hours before going to sleep :) One person commented in the last post of kalisdice_art that if in Kohr people show their legs in winter too, and in fact, was a curiosity that I wanted to represent soon in a comic. So I have decided to give life to that scene. Indeed, in Kohr, the city from which Seban and Iris come, everyone goes with their legs exposed at all times. Kohr is a town of hunters integrated in the mountains, where having strong legs is essential and is a symbol of power. It's a disgrace to cover your legs here, so yes, in winter you don't wear clothes either.

In addition, this scene takes place a few months after Seban, Ronald and Vicky entered the Academy, when they were between 15 and 16 years old. They got along well with each other but things still had to happen to make that friendship that joins Ronald and Seban so much. In addition, I suggest other issues in the comic:

• Vicky was the third member of the group, and, although it seems a totally secondary character, it will be of great importance in Seban's life.
• Ronald does not treat Marlène with the respect he should owe his captain. He is a very problematic boy but also for that same reason Marlène ends up acting as a mother for them instead of a teacher.
• Marlène likes to try new things and does not conform to traditional methods. This openness of mind justifies many things that will happen later.
• Marlène and Marie (if you are reading the comic you will have recognized her) know each other well. They have a common past and a written story that will appear in the comic.

And finally, all this has made me think a lot about the story I am writing / drawing. I’ve always been a dreamy girl who has loved to imagine fantasy stories, and many have been really long. But [Muraka Project] is, directly, a universe. Not only I created characters with their stories and past, but also thought about customs, flower and fauna, food, legends, historical data, I even have a list of plants with their healing properties. I know this is a normal thing when you are a writer or comic artist, but for me it is the first time I have developed a story in such detail. That's why I want to do it right, and I don't want to run. I do not aspire to have miles of readers, simply, I would like people who read it to enjoy it and immerse themselves in the story, and identify with the characters.

I am finishing the exams and projects of this semester, and the next I hope to have more time and dedicate enough weekly hours to develop this story well, both the novel and the comic.
