Hi sweeties ^^ 

For this drawing I wanted to try something a bit different! 

I usually apply directly the tones and do the shading in new layers, but there is an interesting method to color and focus on lighting and shading better, and it's using values. Values are the gray tones you use to define the light or shadows zones, and then, playing with layer modes, you can add later the colors! 

I ended up combining this with the process I usually follow, but I hope you like the idea ^^

Hola corazones! 

Para este dibujo usé una técnica distinta a la que suelo usar. Normalmente aplico los colores en varias capas y después voy sombreando, pero esta es una técnica que suelen usar muchos artistas. 

Usando los valores (los tonos en gris) te puedes enfocar en generar volúmenes y tener en cuenta la luz y las sombras, para luego añadir los colores. 

Al final he combinado un poco los dos procesos, pero espero que os guste y os sirva!
