Two Procreate Brushes [Content for Creators] (Patreon)

Some people asked about my favorite brushes in Procreate. And as I use different ‘packs’ depending the textures I want to create, I will be showing them little by little.

I strongly recommend you to create a new folder and add your favorite brushes of those you use mostly.

The first brush of today is a kind of inking pen I call “Texturas”. I used to use it to add some textures in the final drawings, but I found out it was a really nice option to do sketches and Lineart. Also, I use it to add shadows in some kind of drawings, and then, I use the second brush ‘Blush’ as a blender to make it looks smoother. I use this brush with bigger size to add general shading and lighting. I love the rough texture. I finish the drawing adding details with the first brush again.

Algunas personas me han preguntado por mis pinceles favoritos en Procreate. Yo me los guardo en grupitos dentro de la carpeta personal que creé (recomiendo hacer una carpeta propia con los pinceles que más os gusten o que uséis más).

Como tengo diferentes pinceles según los efectos que quiero conseguir, voy a ir enseñándolos poco a poco. Hoy os voy a enseñar dos que uso para dibujos que tienen un estilo más cartoon. (No preguntéis por qué tienen nombres tan raros hehe).

El primero es ‘Texturas’, solía usarlo para añadir detalles y más texturas en los dibujos que tenían fondo, pero no tardé en verle la utilidad en los sketches y incluso para hacer el Lineart. Ahora en algunos dibujos lo uso para todo, incluso para añadir las sombras. Como queda a veces muy ruda la línea, con el segundo pincel ‘Blush’ con el modo difuminador suavizó estas sombras. Para añadir sombras y luces generales también utilizo este pincel, pero tamaño mucho más grande para que abarque más zonas y la transición sea agradable. Por último, para añadir los brillos y detalles, vuelvo a usar el primer pincel.
