This week we transferred all the 3D elements to a new format. We thought it would take more time, but it went better than expected.

We had to do this transfer because we discovered that the version of the 3D software we were using was a very low-end version of what its publisher was offering. The format our files were in could only be read by this sub-version and that would have caused us problems in the future.

And we did well, because this week the publisher announced that it would no longer develop this version (which it was leaving to die in its corner anyway) and that it would eventually no longer be available. So, if we hadn't made this transfer, we could have lost all the 3D elements.

In any case, the transfer is done and we should be fine for the future.

The second major task we talked about last week was changing the game's display mode, in order to be less resource-consuming.

The work on this task is progressing well, and currently we only have two problems to solve: the tooltips of the Replay menu don't appear anymore (nothing serious) and the lens flare effect that doesn't work as it should (Unity3D is working on a fix).

In any case the result is there! We have a gain of about 50% regarding the display of 3D and effects (blur, SSAO...) as you can see below with the "Tris", "Verts" and "SetPass calls" that manage the graphic aspect of the game.

With this change we hope that the game will run better on some PCs. Another change is planned to make the game more fluid, but we will come back to this later.

Apart from this technical work, we are still working on the script of the episode and Sunny has just started to work on the 3D transition of one of the characters.
