We've got a lot to be thankful for. All you guys, obviously, still here despite how slow things got the latter half of the year. I just finished my move(Blazeymix btw), in a nice new clean place.

but yes, thank you guys for enduring these hard times with us and helping us get through it. That being said, we got some big news again regarding CoA. This time it's about production.

A little background, we started CoA as a two person team, one of us does the art(Sallyhot) and the other does the programming, story, etc, mapping.(Me) We hired peeps to do pixel art for us, KetchupWithFries being the sole reason we were able to get a playable early alpha of two episodes because of his awesome placeholder battlers for Sally and Bunnie.

Yet when episode 3 came, it dawned on us that we just couldn't do much else more than we already did with the current resources we have. We needed a team, to hire peeps to help us achieve what we envisioned. So the project sat for awhile, making slow progress here and there, map progress, sprite progress, art progress... and now that it's been over a year since episode 2's release, Sallyhot and I, along with most of you I'm sure, are just tired of waiting. One of our projects, Taking Sally's Pie, is already mostly dead. We know it sux to do that to everyone, but the more we worked on it, the more we realized the magic for making a smut comic just died on us. We have no desire to do it anymore, but we do want to do something for ya'll at the end of the day. Cue the past few months, where Sallyhot's money ran dry, and he couldn't afford to pay rent. He was forced to find commissions, to look for a part time job, and while I kept bugging him to do something for the patreon, he just didn't have the time to do that.

Me, being depressed and going through my own problems, I decided to leave the patreon for a few months, both to de-stress and to help him out financially.  Now that things are calmer, I finished moving and everything's settled, Sallyhot has his part-time gig..

Now we've been thinking about you guys, and what we wanna do for the patreon and CoA/TSP.

We've said this before, but TSP we're done with. In the comic format. We want to continue to the story perhaps as a picture series, so that you guys can get the story and action still. As far as CoA goes, Sallyhot and I wont go into too much detail too soon as we wanna be sure about our plans before announcing them, but we intend to go full-tilt on production in the best ways we can do with just the two of us. Meaning, he will be working a ton on the art, and I'll be working a ton on the story. No more letting the game hold us back from working on it. While we'd love to get episode 3 out there, it just isn't going to happen until we get a bigger team to work on it and produce the assets we need. However, with just Sallyhot and myself, we can focus on what WE do best, and with that in mind, we're going to work on CoA's story art and writing wise from beginning to end, and worry about the RPG gameplay later, when more assets are done for it. So no more letting the project sit around, it's finally time to see where CoA goes next!

Sallyhot will be working on art for episode 3 very soon, he might stream it as well, and I'm gonna be working on getting a playable Knothole off the ground before we begin working on writing and drawing the full story. Once we get a good playable Knothole up and running, Sallyhot is gonna work on some new Sally art and scenes for episode one, some CGi stuff like Jerry holding Bunnie with his many tentacles ;)

I'm gonna be writing the full story starting from episode 1, to flesh it out and make it feel bigger, more alive and such like a good old school RPG does with its story. Well, that, or I could start from Episode 3 where the story leaves off and rewrite episodes 1 and 2 later. What do you guys think?

Anyway, things are happening and beginning to move forward again. Soon we'll have some awesome things to show you. Thanks so much for sticking with us and being so patient. Your support has kept us afloat during the hardest of times. Without you Team Acorn probably wouldn't be a thing anymore. So thanks guys/gals, from the bottom of our hearts. :) See you real soon!
