IT'S FUKAYNA TIME

Fukayna is a hermit alchemist dwelling deep within the Black Forest of Germany. She lives in an abandoned mineshaft underneath an old desolate church, where she conducts her alchemic experiments in peace. 

Her experiments centre around zoology and chimeras, fusing animals together to create the best combination of physical and mental features. The final stage is to use a human in her experiments, but has not been successful in creating a live functioning result. 

She is fascinated by the theory of evolution and natural selection, and believes the next step in mankind's scientific endeavour is to learn to manipulate and hijack evolution. She embraces the theistic and the supernatural side of alchemy, believing it is all a form of science that is yet to be obtained, although it has cost her a place amongst other academics, that she gave up on anyway. She'd rather do her experiments just for herself these days.

She is a very private person, she enjoys being alone in the company of animals. She doesn't care much for common people, and she also loves gold. In fact, she has learned to artificially create gold, during her past experiment to try and create the Philosophers stone. Hasn't quite achieved the 'immortal life' part though.

The few townspeople that have come across her describe her as a 'witch'. She doesn't really mind, but she'd prefer 'alchemist' or 'scientist' at least.
