This is absolutely amazing. I love the crow looking down at Vic as he looks down at the grave. It gives me the sense of a predator getting closer to it’s prey. Also, the red is absolutely beautiful. I like (and sorry if this wrong, this is how I see it) how it gives the sense of corruption in his character and the beginning of his desperation of his need for the approval and praise of the scientific community and his need to be a great scientist. He has no issue playing god at this moment and it’s exhilarating.

ooh i really like this interpretation it might seem like he's the predator (and the corpse/the dead are his prey), but the bird (which also symbolises his fears since,, ornithophobia) and it makes him out to seem like the prey instead. No matter how much in power he might think he is, there's always the things in his head.
