Dr Abbey Norman is a biologist and engineer who has a big interest in the nervous system and the way information is transmitted from the brain to the rest of the body. She double guesses herself a lot, and tries to figure out how she wants her research to be used, if used at all.

Dr Ygor Fritz was Abbey's mentor and also a surgeon developing the early stages of neurosurgery, and was a pretty big deal until a major accident that ,, definitely did its damage. He's humorous, jokes around a lot and tends to get on people's nerves, nobody knows if he does it on purpose. He often get's Abbey's surname wrong. The public think the accident killed him.

They both work under Dr Brier Lanchester.
