Upcoming Changes (Price Increase + Discord) (Patreon)

Hey Everyone,

We've got some pretty important changes coming up soon, so I just wanted to make you all aware of them in advance.

Firstly, I'm sad to say that I'm probably going to need to up my prices a little. I'm really sorry about this, but with how expensive the mere act of existing is getting these days, it has just become necessary. So with that said, I'm going to be increasing the $5 tier to $6, and the $10 tier to $12. Thankfully, one bit of solace you can all take is that raising prices on Patreon is a bit of a pain, requiring the creation of new tiers entirely and for everyone to switch over to those new tiers, so you can rest assured I won't be doing this again any time soon. However, this does tie in to the next major announcement:

I will be switching to a Discord server for content hosting. Pretty sure this is no big surprise, given I did the poll quite sometime ago, but I have finally managed to get the server set up and ready to go. I'm hoping that this will better facilitate content sharing, discussion, updates on the status of the game, and reduce piracy.

These changes are not going to be immediate though. I don't really want to mess around with price changes right as everyone's getting charged for the month, so the newly priced tiers, which will be linked to the Discord server, will be going live on the 7th of April, A.K.A. next Friday. I'll keep the old tiers up and running for about a week afterward to give people time to change over, but after that the old tiers will be shut down, and we will be entirely on the new system.

All that being said, it doesn't sit well with me to increase my prices without hearing what I could be doing better, or what more you'd like to see from me. So (while bracing myself), I would like to ask for any feedback you have on how I'm doing, what more you think I could be doing, or anything you've been particularly pleased or dissatisfied by. Also, feel free to suggest what you'd like to see out of a Discord server. I've made mine pretty bare-bones at the moment, as I'm not particularly looking to make it a community hub or anything, but I'm happy to hear any suggestions that you may have.

As always, thank you all for your continued support, especially through these rough economic times. I really can't express how much it means to me to have people who think what I do is worth a damn, and worth a dime, too. Your support means the world to me, and Texas's ongoing adventures (as increasingly dire as they seem to be), would not be possible without it.

It's all good to raise the prices, I believe the content is well worth it for sure. I am curious is the secondary getting its own server or will all content be on the discord from both primary and secondary squashed flat? I assume you could use the role system to allow access to the different channels that have their respective contents I think. Also how does one go about verifying they are who they are once we get in because this account and my discord name won't match up sadly. Also as for things I like to see I started following after macro roxxie so any size stuff is definitely something I like to see more off, as well as toon tex getting turned into panties or a rag those also are very nice. I don't think I have any negatives to point out, was gonna say perhaps touching on the old enemy types but you seem to be doing that with the rat gals. Definitely hope to see shrunk Texas more with them as much as the boss rat

I understand completely with the price changes. I look forward to continuing to support you. You have greatly improved your animations and coding over the years and look forward for you to continue to improve. What I would like to see more of is AV content, butt crush, and clothing entrapment. I also would like to see more grabs that have different stages similar to Carmel's butt crush and the Cat and Skunk one. I know these would be more time consuming so I don't want to pressure you. It would be interesting to see one type of grab where the player is crushed between the cheeks maybe also inside their underwear and we need to struggle to get out. The idea is similar to QK getting stuck in Megalith's bra, but its a move we could escape. For the Discord, I recommend having more than one channel for regular talks, have a dedicated channel for game development discussions, and if you allow people to share art have different channels for SFW and NSFW material. These could be art share for references if need be. Also a music channel so we can get you some new playlist, XD (I'm joking). At the end of the day its your choice so I don't want you to feel obligated. Keep up the good work.

Thank you! I've been dreading this announcement for a while, so I really appreciate the understanding. So far Molly has at least one of the different stage grabs planned, but I imagine I could add another one in. They're actually not that difficult at all. Roxxie had one with her lasso counter as well, I believe. Definitely going to be a lot of butt crush and some AV. Clothing entrapment is a little tricky for Molly though, just because she wears so little clothing. Just a hat, corset, and a thong utterly lost between her abyssal ass cheeks. This grievous assault on my playlist shall not be soon forgiven! (Also joking, obviously xD). Currently I've got art sharing separated into 'clean' and 'gas', and will ask people to spoiler tag NSFW images in the server rules. I have just now added 'non kink art' and 'game dev discussions' channels though, so thank you!
