Well, I've fixed the bugs that I could replicate from people's reports, and I've also added some I-Frames to the game, which should hopefully help a little with the difficulty. But now I need to move on to level 3.

Also, it's come to my attention that Game Maker has some issues with Intel integrated graphics cards, particularly on older laptops, which causes freezing and crashing. Unfortunately this isn't an issue I'm able to fix on my end, and none of the options I've explored to resolve this issue have borne fruit. If you are having this issue, all I can advise is to switch cards if you're running more than one GPU, or try running it on something else. Sorry.

For the link, just select all and make a hyperlink when the selection is up.. many ppl gets hard time to select all the link because they mostly click on it.

It's great and very hard at same time. Those little fellas are so hard. But much smoother then lvl 1 I can say.

First of all, hooray, it's here! Second of all, since I already played through it, I'll go ahead and unload some thoughts... I'll start by saying, that was awesome. I like the new intro sequence and the main menu. Also the level design, with each train car being slightly different, is pretty neat. And something I may have mentioned before because it applies to level 1 just as much, is the little details in the animations. Like in the skunk grab ending, the way her expression changes and she grabs her stomach, letting us know something big from deep in her bowels is coming... That's one of the things that drew me to this game in the first place - the animations do a really good job of simply but effectively portraying the scene. So in general I'd like to say that, as before, the details in this game are very well done. I don't know if this level was more challenging than the last or if I'm just rusty... The cats did give me quite a bit of trouble for a while, but I think I've mostly gotten the hang of it now (the lasso really helps). That's not necessarily a bad thing, mind you. But it did make me wish there was an even more precise level select, or a way to skip through the train cars to get to the one you want. The problem is, if I want to see say the cat/elephant grab, I can only watch it once or twice and then I have to fight my way through the train to see it again, hopefully not losing too many lives along the way. There could also be a bonus free fight kinda level, where we choose the combination of enemies we wanna fight (probably limited to non-boss enemies from the same level). Or you could make it so when we lose and press continue, we come back in the same train car we were in. Though, that last one probably isn't a good idea because it'll make the game much easier... Anyway, I know I'm probably being greedy with this, so I won't complain to the management if a way to skip to the enemy combination you want isn't implemented, but just thought I'd throw it out there... As for fetish content, I gotta say, as a lover of hypnosis, Zirona was my favorite part of this level. All her game overs - her mesmerizing Texas to worship her foot before stuffing her in her shoe, her leashing Texas and taking her for a walk and her hypnotizing Texas to be Annabelle's ass slave - they were all great. I assume there probably won't be anyone else quite like her, but I personally wouldn't mind seeing more stuff in that vein... I still don't think I've seen all the grabs, though. For one, whenever Jesse or Jane had me Zirona always made it to us before the other pig, so I haven't seen a double pig grab. I was also curious whether anything happens if you lose to the cat/skunk combo, but so far I haven't managed to do that... I did find two bugs: 1. The text box is off in fullscreen. At the beginning when it's at the top, it's slightly too far to the right, cutting off the ends of sentences, and after that it's completely invisible and you have to switch to windowed mode to read the conversations. 2. On the train, right after when the elephant blocks the door and you climb on the roof, if you try to walk backwards (to the left) instead of forwards you get stuck and can only move up and down. Alright, I think that's all I got to say for now. I was gonna list my favorite grabs, but then I realized I was about to just list almost all of them, so... I did like the cat/elephant one, especially with the cat throwing squashed Texas in her trousers. But I also liked well, pretty much all the others... The skunk in particular was a pretty sexy character... Alright then, guess I'm off to see if I missed any Jesse/Jane/Zirona grabs,.. It got a bit chaotic there and I'm not sure I've seen everything... All in all, this i a great game SquashFlat. Take that break that you deserve, and I'll be looking forward to see who we meet in level 3!

Anyone else haveing trouble getting the game to play? I keep getting either a frozen screen on start up, though the game is trying to play behind that screen, or i see a bunch of still images of the animations over what the game should be.

NanasBananas

Something else I noticed - when either Jesse or Jane grabs you and fart-blasts you, it doesn't seem to do any damage. I'm mostly concerned because I was wondering if there was an animation for getting defeated by that move, but you can't get defeated by it if it doesn't hurt you...

SquashedFlat

Thanks! From the feedback I'm getting this one is quite a bit trickier, and I would agree. My intention was to challenge the player through the removal of the sprint kick and lasso on some enemies and force them to think a bit more rather than spam, but sadly the enemies have some spam on their side too... More fixes needed, I feel. As for precision level select, I'm afraid that's not on the cards, but I do plan to add a gallery mode in future so that you can see all the animations that you have unlocked. And thanks for the bug reports! I'll get to fixing them when I get back to streaming. Thank you!

SquashedFlat

Yeah, that's not meant to deal damage, just knock Texas away. The pigs often benefit from distance so that they can pull off their special moves.

SquashedFlat

I'm afraid I'm not sure what that's about... I haven't seen anything like that in my tests, nor have my bug testers reported anything even remotely similar.

It worked for me with level one, but that was a hard drive crash ago. are there any settings/RTPs/compatability things i should have that i may have lost?

Heath Conner

Well that was a fun ride! (Pun totally intended of course)! Quite like the idea of duking it out on a moving train, quite the thrill. The enemies were great, loved the grabs for them all (especially with the cats just grouping on Tex). Looking forward to wherever Texas’s wild journey after Roxxie is gonna be next!

SquashedFlat

There shouldn't be... If you're on a PC it should just work fine. I mean, you can try playing around with compatibility settings, but I honestly have no idea if that will work.

SquashedFlat

Thanks, I'll have a look into it when I get back to the streams. Was anything in particular happening at the time?

Heath Conner

And I could keep going on and on about it ^^ so glad I can watch your game develop so well! Now that my spring classes are over, I may even have some time to stay in the streams!

Thatperson28

I found out the problem. integrated graphic card doesn't like the drivers. once i told it to use my other one, it all worked. apparently a semi-common problem with windows using game studio stuff

Fred

Not a fan of farts and characters going pancake. However, the game is nicely put together and i can tell it is made with care. I might be the only one thinking this, but if possible more characters like the cats would be delightful, loved them ganging up on texas and humiliating her. Big fan of the game over and struggle animations. Keep up the good work ;)

SquashedFlat

Odd to see someone who's not into flattening OR gas on my page, but I'm glad you enjoy it nonetheless!

CovahDX

First off. Congrats. I know you've worked really hard on this. Its great. The way the characters are animated is beautiful. I love the little details like the skunks face during her grab attack with the cat. I haven't got up to the boss yet because the cats keep whuppin my ass. But the only bug I have found so far is in the third train car where you fight the Skunk and the Cat. the game like froze kinda. I was still able to pause it and the music still played but Tex, the cat, and the skunk did not move. I haven't been able to replicate the bu though so I'm not sure if its a game issue or a "My PC" Issue. But other than that I'm really enjoying your game. Thanks for creating it and sharing your hard work with us.

Fred

Stumbled upon it on deviant art, have a soft spot for games with sexy pc being defeated in various situations. Like I said, farting and body changes(pancaked/morphed etc) does nothing for me personally. Do LOVE the strong/cocky sheriff getting stepped/sat on, humiliated, bearhuged, tied and as mentioned struggle and gameovers. You clearly know what you want and I admire your work, just wanted to let you know that.

Victorious

Whew... Loved the game, Level 2 was a bit of a challenge that got me pretty mad. Like, I get the cats move fast and have little HP, but giving them guns? Man the AI would get cruel and they'd run to opposite ends of the room and shoot me from both sides. Extra lives. The first time I found one it gave it to me at the beginning of Lvl 2. I didn't know lives didn't stack. So my advice is to save it for after you beat the mob room. Other than that... Yeah, I freaking loved this level and can't wait to see more~

SquashedFlat

The cats are tough, but they go down quickly to the lasso and sprint kick combo. Also you can kick them while they're in their shoot animation. And that definitely sounds like a game issue rather than a PC issue, so I'll look into it!

SquashedFlat

Yeah, sorry, the lives don't stack passed 3. And the cats are certainly tricky, but gratuitous lasso use can deal with them pretty quick. Still, glad you enjoyed it despite those frustrations!

NanasBananas

Hmm, would be nice to have an animation gallery, though to be honest I'm not sure that it'll be the same. I think the real fun comes from actually playing and getting grabbed, that's what makes it feel like the animation is something that's happening to you and not just something you're watching... I think this might just remain my one frustration from the game - that from a kink perspective, if you want to get defeated by a certain animation it can require a bit too much work. This also somewhat applies to the Jesse/Jane/Zirona fight. I went back and played it some more, and I indeed found several very nice grab combos and loss animations I didn't run across the first time (I especially like what happens when Zirona uses her hypno rattle from a distance and the red bandana pig is only one left standing (sorry Jesse and Jane, I can't remember which is which!)). But a lot of those require one or two or the enemies to already be down in order to enjoy, which can be a bit tiring to do after a few times... Just to clarify, my overall experience with the game has been overwhelmingly positive, and this is by no means a toss-the-game-out-your-window level of complaint. But since I'm sharing my thoughts and feedback, I just felt I should probably share all of it, good or bad... As far as the difficulty curve goes though, I actually think it's pretty good. The second level is more challenging than the first, but it's still doable without ripping your hair out, and it's not so much harder that it feels like an unnatural difficulty spike and ruins the flow of the game. While there may have been a few frustrating moments where a cat chose to shoot me once too many or I found myself surrounded by enemies and had trouble escaping to one side of them, those are fairly natural situations in beat-em-ups, and you do get a little better at avoiding them with practice...

GG

Oh wow, great work so far! No bugs, just a few problems here and there in fights with the cats x3 also, I was quite shocked when I saw Level 4 in the level select, I thought it was only a 3 level game and this is actually great! Can't wait to see more~

SquashedFlat

Interesting! Thank you for the follow up on this. So you switched to non-intergrated graphics and it worked?

Thatperson28

Yup! no more problems. seems its just how windows can sometimes interact with game studio stuff in general and nothing wrong with the game itself.
