You know, Disney has REALLY been getting on my nerves since 2017. It's really only been recently since they really ticked me off and I need to vent.

So, I'm going to do what the entire billion dollar company can't do and fix their sh*^ the best way I know how- by doing their work for them.

I'm gonna start with the easiest. Striking everything they've done to ruin Star Wars canon and fix up their most easily fixable movie by making all the changes and stories they should've done in the movie.

Frankly, I'm just insulted by everything they did and EVERYTHING they are doing NOW to continue to ruin the show, from Obi-Wan to the Mandolorian, and they are still ruining Luke despite his corpse already rotting on the First Jedi Temple where dreams go to die. Well, I intend to change that.

Get ready fans, because TheWriteFiction is on the warpath on the Star Wars canon, and it's gonna be coming out with more updates.

I'm on my holiday now and I'm gonna be getting s&*t done.

I can barely stomach any of Disney's star wars stock. I haven't even been able to finish the new trilogy, i just can't bare the idea of even watching Rise of skywalker because i know it will be shite, and i just don't want them ruining any more of my childhood with their rubbish. The only things i can find even half watch able are Kenobi and that's because Obiwan is my favourite character. I've always said what Disney needed to do was forget Lucus's characters, create their own world set 100s of years after Jedi. Clean slate, blank page built on the legacy, instead they've been ruining. Promoing fan favs to try and grab fans quickly, except they did such a shit job of bloody copying the movies, they've lost fans, so much so now they can't even bank on the movies. If that doesn't speak on the poor job done, i don't know what will. Sorry, i can't help raging when i see what is becomeing of my favourite fandoms.

"Oh hey, it's the Younglingslayer 9000." -Luke Also, wouldn't you need to start with Episode 7 then?

For me what probably bothers me the most is how mandalorians feel less like warriors in star wars now and how luke will never reach his potential seen in legends.

Definitely needed this,I’ve been in the Star Wars mood, but Mando’s new season has not been doing it for me. Do you still plan on continuing the Luke Skywalker Chronicles in the future?

Got to admit ready starting to like more than the original.

Interesting start. Better than TLJ that is for sure. I wonder why Luke left the Map and why he is on the planet? Is it a test? is he trying to do something there or keep something contained?

It still pisses me off to this day that force awakens never had a scene WITH ALL THREE ORGINIAL ACTORS TOGETHER. LEIA LUKE AND HAN NEVER TOGETHER!!!!! The worst part is the orginial script had them interact. Why the last jedi never followed up and did it pisses me off to this day. Of course it was a poor film overall.

I disagree with the blanket notion that "everything" in the Disney era has been terrible and "ruining" the story. Besides the fact that the stories and world is still there (canonicity being pretty irrelevant, case in point), there has still been a lot of good at least in some of the live action series beyond the sequel trilogy. Are they flawed? Absolutely (*cough*Book of Boba Fett). But many like Andor, Obi Wan, and The Mandalorian have been good to even great at points, with stories that keep the galaxy far, far away alive that weren't told and with characters that have earned a spot among the best and reviving and even fixing some characters from missteps in the new canon. The Mandalorian, for what problems it may have especially in this recent season, has done a lot of good in both areas especially in seasons 1 and 2, with the characterization of a returning Boba and Luke being big parts imo beyond even anything mandalorian (and shoutout to the character play in Vader vs Obi Wan in Obi Wan). Some of that is fixing mistakes and/or fitting these stories into the canon Disney has established in the sequel trilogy, which is fair criticism; I'm not here to defend the mismanaged mess that was Eps. 7-9. And I, as a Star Wars fan who has had the OT trilogy pre-special edition VHS box set since childhood and unabashedly creased the VHS sleeve of RotJ with how much I watched it as a kid, understand the venom towards the new product and fully look forward to seeing how you handle it especially with the promising start. Just wanted to share my own thoughts that I believe the love and light towards the universe from creators like Dave Filoni in the new product is still there and present and worth noting. To bring some balance to the discussion and not deal in absolutes ;)

I personally view the live-action television shows as filled with cool moments, but overall rather poorly done. The only one remotely worth any note were the first two seasons of Mandalorian, mostly for the fact that most of it is a recycled script from a planned Boba Fett film, but Disney cancelled due to the failure of the Han Solo movie, which is why the plot in the first season is so tight, and then wraps up quite abruptly in the second season. And now the third season is a mess, because, they are no longer relying on a re-existing script. Hell, it's supposed to be about Mando being a bounty hunter, but the guy is no longer bounty hunting and is fazed out by other characters in the third season.
