For all of you who have been following my work on this site, you'll probably have noticed me throwing out previews, spoilers, and story threads from my future telling of the Tournament of Power Arc of my Golden Age timeline- including the introduction and involvement of the still alive Universe 18 members, who are participating in the tournament for a chance to wish their deleted universes, families, friends, and homes back.

As I mentioned in previous posts, each member of the U18 team is based off and inspired by Japanese Yokai and monsters from their myth and folklore, with the three strongest members on the team being based off of Japan's most prominent and famous monster characters - Kiyohime, Tamamo no Mae, and Shuten Doji.

- Kiyo (short for Kiyohime) is a dragon woman, a descendent of Super Shenron, former guardian of the Four Star Super Dragon Ball of U18, and is regarded as one of, if not the most powerful being/living creature in the DBZ multiverse of the Golden Age timeline. A single attack from her can shatter reality and, at full power, the same punch can create a big bang capable of creating multiple universes and timelines. She is easily the strongest member of her team.

- Shu (short for Shuten Doji) is physically the strongest and most durable being in the multiverse, sharing physical strength comparable to Kiyo, though lacking the same range in power, magic and ki control. A brute for all intents and purposes, he towers over all individuals, and can withstand blows from Jiren with little difficulty. He is arguably the second or third strongest member of the team.

-Tama (short for Tamamo no Mae) is the most gifted and powerful external ki user in the multiverse. Using a caster-like fighting style, she can switch off Super Saiyan and other transformations with a mere glance, and can cause suns to go nova on sight. She generates balls of light around her capable of disintegrating people on contact similar to Hakai, and can even dispel and stop Hakai energy with the same spheres. While a lone energy ball from her can incinerate normal people, a large one from her can generate explodes equivalent from anything to hyper novas to even miniature big bangs. She is arguably the second strongest member of her team.

The comic page above depicts her, as one of the last standing on her team, facing off against her equal- Zangya- who uses an identical fighting style to her and shares the same mastery of energy and magic. Both of them square off against one another, with Tama expressing joy at finally facing against an opponent outside of her Universe that is her equal in every measure. Only Shu and Kiyo before Zangya has ever pushed Tama to her limits, and Zangya is the only one from the other universes able to go toe to toe with her at this climactic age of the Tournament of Power.

😳 Wow…you’re using some pretty Big Yokai Names here for reference and while they all really impress me Tamamo no Mae made more of an impression on me, being able to reincarnate so much (or just changing her form with magic?) like when she turned into a human baby by the name Mikuzume in the 1090’s (🤔 at least I think that I is a 1 for 1090’s) And Kiyohime woof, I feel a mixture of Sadness and regret for her having gone through such emotional painful and heartbreaking experience like that (I hope you didn’t reference too much with the Golden Age Variant) Shuten Doji the poor soul’s just sorely misunderstood and gives a small impression of wanting to be loved, no one despite how they look should be denied that right. 😊 Write you keep impressing me again and again, the inspiration behind these characters are completely ingenuitive, I thank you for your unique and amazing imagination Write

The fight against Tama should be a good Test for all of Zangya’s Training up to this point…😋 might even measure past her
