Gohan confronts Goku's killer [Golden Age][DBS Era][Preview] (Patreon)
Content
People have asked me when Goku's killers- the Wild Hunt- show up. Well, they appear towards the tail end of Dragonball Super, since they are one of the final villains in my series, which is why they didn't appear in the first issue of the Golden Age Villain line up I did very recently. These guys show up WAAAAYYY later in my story.
However, for all of you wondering what Goku's killer looks like- the man who is responsible for leading to the hero's erasure from existence and preventing him from being wished back to life by any magic- THIS is the man.
The Wild Hunt that appear in my story is exactly as they are from the folk legends (follow link for information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Hunt). They are a group of soul reapers who, in many sources of religious mythology, particularly Norse mythology, usher in Ragnarok- the end of days, which is pretty much the apocalypse in some translations. They are an army or group of hunters/warriors made up of either spirits, elves, deities, Valkyrie, or Gods, and are often led by a powerful figure from mythology, sometimes Odin the All Father and in one particular case King Arthur.
The man featured here ISN'T the actual king of the Wild Hunt, but he is the highest ranking general and the commander of the Wild Hunt forces that leads at the front. His name is Gwyn, based on one of the foretold leaders of the Wild Hunt of legend (again, see this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwyn_ap_Nudd)
This is the man responsible for taking Goku's arms, which leads to Gohan's father's permanent death, and is also responsible for Beerus's permanent death too. He craves battle, just like Saiyans, but is far more good at killing, as he has led conquests across multiple realities and has slain many Gods in many pantheons. The hammer he wields is Thor's actual hammer Mjölnir, (even though it resembles Storm Breaker from the marvel movies), as he killed the God of Thunder in another reality/pantheon and claimed the hammer as a trophey.
Gohan confronts the man, ready to exact revenge on him for his father's death.
