You know, the one joke I think would've been really solid in the DBZ universe is if one of the good guys happens to run into one of their former enemies unexpectedly on the street after almost killing each other years later.

Sure, they went with something like this with Frieza in Dragonball Super, but I think the joke kind of fell flat because Frieza had died, like, twice, and Goku and Frieza deliberately just gut punched each other in a rather childish manner. I got a small chuckle out of it, but it honestly wasn't as funny as a lot of the same jokes I saw play out in Fairy Tale or in Hajime no Ippo.

And since I've spent the last year writing the story summary for Golden Age, I've been dying to share the Gohan and Reina reunion moment when the two of them realize- 3 years after their heated and bloody fist fight over who the superior martial artist was- they are both going to the same high school as each other.

Of course, their first reflex the moment they run into each other in the corridor is to assume battle stances and take a shot at each other, which ends just about as well as you can expect from these two- with Videl and Erasa watching the entire thing from the sidelines.

Another canon moment from Golden Age graciously establishing the new relationship between these two rivals and former enemies, having to share the same high school turf as each other.
