The last direct has sure been a wild one. So many new games releasing, all of them related to the Mario universe, not to mention hilarious and amusing. Sorry, that was a John Henson quote, but I'm really looking forward to those games releasing this year. -The WarioWare Smooth Moves successor I'm really excited for because the last WarioWare game, Get It Together, restricted minigames to its game mechanics meaning it wasn't as "quirky" and fun to play. Of course the game before that was WarioWare Gold, but it didn't feature new content, and considering we had Game & Wario before that, we have not had a new WarioWare game with wacky situated microgames since the original Smooth Moves, which, I assume why the new game is basically a sequel of Smooth Moves. It opens up more possibilities because of that. -Super Mario RPG I have been really wanting to play for a really long time. I haven't gotten past the first battle last time I played IIRC, and that was on the Super Nintendo Classic Edition, so releasing a remake will definitely get me back to playing it again. -The untitled Princess Peach game has me interested. While not super exciting, I did really enjoy Super Princess Peach when I was younger, so I am curious to see what this game is. -Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon brings me back. I remember playing it a lot back in the day, and I vividly remember myself playing it in the car. However even though this probably was in the original, I'm not really into the low framerate animation, which I don't know if it's intentional or not. Here it seems like they didn't increase the framerate animation, but that opinion might be overexaggerated TBH and not accurate to my actual thoughts. -Super Mario Bros. Wonder looks really good visually and seems very enjoyable. And you're right, it's definitely the quirkiest Mario game that has ever been made on the face of the earth. The mechanics remind me of Super Mario Maker 2, where there was a special "night mode" you could turn on, which would add special traits to levels depending on the level's theme. The elephant powerup definitely caught me off guard, considering that Mario games in the past usually just added animal traits and features to Mario, not just straight up turn him into one like here, but I'm not against it far from it. The let's play idea sounds very interesting. It personally would be really funny if it was basically a Twitch stream of yours, except that it's just the gameplay on screen. That would mean you would be very energetic and use humor, and hell, maybe even use dark humor like on stream. It is very weird to say that you use dark humor nowadays, and that's probably not even the right word to use, but it's pretty much the only one I can use. But don't worry, I am still really enjoying these goofy streams. Adding a little bit of new humor wouldn't hurt anybody.
