oh man, hearing about your experience with that hard Crisis Core boss reminds me of trying to beat difficult Octopath bosses some years ago… very different kind of RPG, I know, but it would often take me over an hour to beat them just optimizing my strategy turn-by-turn and still taking me multiple attempts since I wasn't exactly the best at JRPGs back then… Ooh, I need to play Final Fantasy VII. Unfortunately I am that *one* person that needs to play I-VI before that. I know, they don't connect, but I feel like… I don't know, I feel like I'll appreciate the series better that way. But hey, I'm liking FFI quite a bit. People have mixed opinions on the Pixel Remasters, but I'm personally a fan, especially on PC since it's super easy to mod. I'll keep you posted on my FF progress. Maybe. Oh yeah, I've become increasingly obsessed with Steam achievements. I can imagine it would be rough getting all the way back there… I think there's some external tools to unlock them, and normally god forbid someone do such a thing, but you've already played through it once, so… Although, ironically, I want to play Octopath again BECAUSE of the Steam achievements, so can't say I don't relate to replaying a game for that reason :p Might even buy Octopath II on Steam, not quite sure yet. Of course, you know what game I'm going to recommend. :p Hoping Live A Live gets a PC port so I can get that flair for my Steam profile. Might submit the demo as a game request for stream, we'll see. Oof, I need to finish Skyward Sword too. Got about halfway through, but last time I played a Zelda game my save corrupted at the halfway point, so maybe I'm just paranoid. :p I also need to finish this post, so I'll end it here. Video games are cool 😎
