News! - Quality Creep. Restructure. Please Read (Patreon)

Hey gang! I've got a bit of a ramble here but please stick with me.

I wanted to get this out before the end of the month so that, if you want, you can alter your pledges before the next billing. I didn't want to shake things up AFTER you paid. That'd be kinda shitty, IMO.

So, QUALITY CREEP.. that's the big issue. So, when I started the request tier states they are SKETCHES. SKETCHES.. and they were for a while.. but let's be real, now they're high quality print level commissions. The amount of work VS the amount paid is kinda off balance with the negative side of it resting on me. I'm super far behind. I have NO time to work on anything I want to work on without falling further behind. It's rough.

How do I fix this?   Best I can figure.. I drop the quality back to sketches. The only alternative is to raise the prices by more than anyone would want to pay. If I drop back down to tight pencils with flat colors. (like several of the sketches you've seen here and on my socials)
This would lighten my work load significantly. I'd be able to push thru these requests and backlog a lot quicker.
Now.. I get it.. that may not be what anyone wants, and if you want to lower your pledge (please stay..heh) please feel free to. No hard feelings. Your money is yours and important.

What about the prints?   So, currently, since all these requests are done with print-like quality I've been releasing them as prints. Going forward this would drop in number but worry not. With more time and less stress I should be able to easily knock out a print or two a month.

What about the backlog?   They'll be sketches going forward, but anyone with owed requests can talk to me in private about how to make good. Maybe a full on commission to cut some chunks out.

Changes -  The $40 tier will remain one character of mine in a fairly simple concept/pose. If you've adopted a character from me they can be used.
The $50 tier will be two characters. You can use adoptables. Pretty much the same.

(Oh and I have three left of the recent batch and they'll be the current full color bonkers level.)

Hopefully with this change I can keep people happy, but destress, get more done per month, not feel super guilty when I do fun doodle stream nights, and maybe (dark gods willing) work on some personal projects.. Var, comics, art packs, ect.
