If you do group it into 2 episodes, I would watch 1B by itself and start grouping them up after. The episodes go together after that by 2 episodes. So 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, etc. The Directors cut put these episodes together. Also there are a lot of after credit scenes in this show.

HELL YEAH! I can't wait for these reactions! I see that you're doing the original version where it's just 1 episode in length. I think the directors cut is a bit better as it adds some (small) things that they cut from the original, but each episode is also double length. Personally, I would switch to the directors cut for next reaction (you'll have to find where you left off though). It's probably fine if you wanted to like, only edit one "half" at a time for videos, but they are better to at least watch in pairs imo. Other important info: The original story is from a web novel, which was later adapted into a light novel, the anime was then adapted from the light novel. People love to discuss information from the web/light novels that isn't adapted into the anime, which is fine by itself but it's very easy for people to accidentally spoil stuff like character motivations, which, for such a character-driven story, can definitely be a problem. There are two OVAs. Some people say to watch the first OVA (Memory Snow) halfway through season 1 since it doesn't spoil much in terms of plot and it happens chronologically at that point. I would advise against it, because some characters interact in a way that "spoils" their future character developments. It's better to watch them both at the end of the first season imo. There's a subset of the fanbase that is a bit toxic, especially surrounding discussion on who is "best girl".
