Episode 590 is indeed a filler. So much so, that it's not considered a One Piece episode. To my (limited) understanding, it apparently has nothing to do with the main story or even a side story. The only thing it does have is the Straw Hats. I would give more details but I don't know if you want to check it out or not.

It's less a filler and more of a special. I personally thing it is OK to give bit more information: It's crossover with TORIKO and another beloved Anime franchise. I believe there are 3 TORIKO Specials over the course of the OnePiece run. For why it is not on crunchyroll or many other sources. I believe it's a licencing issue. This special need to handle three different IPs ^^

The Yeti bros are about 140 ft tall, so tall but not the tallest we've seen, that would be San Juan Wolf, the giant that joined up with Blackbeard in Marineford and was hiding behind the building (nearly 600 ft tall) or for one the Straw hats have faced, Oars was 220 ft tall. Monster Point Chopper is inconsistent in size, but usually estimated at between 40-50 feet.

So after doing some research, I figured that the NHC10 by itself is not a real chemical formula but most likely a fictional version of one, probably censored intentionally by Oda. It is most likely based on C10H15N -- Meth.
