Fish-Man Island arc was good, imo. It may be one of the least liked but its not bad. Skypeia arc also not bad. Thriller Bark, also not bad. Do they have some issues? Sure but it's not a big deal. One Piece as a whole is awesome.

I know a lot of people didn't like the villains in this arc, but the point was to show the ancient weapon, name drop Joy Boy and to show no matter how physically strong a person can get, it's still nothing compared to basic haki.

Highly disagree, most of what you mentioned are just the worldbuilding bits at the end and aren't the point of the arc at all. And it's not to show that Haki > everything, it's to show how weak Hody actually is from holding empty racist beliefs that stem from nothing but the environment he lived in and not from any real experience that he has ever had with humans. Him being a one-note villain is intentional and ties in to the themes of the arc, which is what makes him such a good villain. He's just like real life racists, and it directly shows how important it is for people to not spread their own animosity towards anything to the next generation, otherwise you can end up with someone like Hody who is far worse than the previous generation ever was.
