Got dayum you’re gonna make me get a twitch account 😭 also to clarify something someone said, Oda does not retcon like, ever. Shanks showing haki was a reveal (as in revealing that haki was a thing and that’s what Shanks really did), but not for that moment. Almost every big reveal has a foreshadow moment you can go back to look at like 400 chapters earlier. Post war you learn Sabo exists, but during marineford when they flash back to Ace and Luffy toasting sake cups, the shadow of the third cup was there all along. Oda rarely changes plans or has to asspull an explanation🔥

Yaaa looking forward to more Manga vids. If you're using the viz reader, I recommend using the double page view, it's the icon in between the ? button and the Magnify/Zoom-in button. This way when oda draws a double page scene, you'll read the dialogue in the right order, as if you were reading it from open pages on a physical volume.

I'm so hyped that you gonna read the manga!! Now you can see just how good Oda is at story telling and see the little details they removed for some reason from the anime. And also, Oda started with 17 being a mangaka, because he didn't feel like "doing a real job" lol and one piece came out when he was 22, even tho he made similar stories around Luffy for a while. I myself don't mind that format, hope to see more of you reading the manga!

On Youtube you really cant show anything from the manga, manga panels are even worse than the anime. Maybe just show a small stripe of the page, so people know where you are and can read with you.

When you got to Luffy getting the hat, I had to think about when you made an off-hand joke that 'Luffy got his sandals from Shanks, too, it just wasn't as good a story.' Lol. Love your sense of humour! And yeah, I'd totally dig more Manga reading. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but it's really chill and I like you responding to the twitch folks in real time. Almost making me wanna get a twitch account.
