That's what I call emotional damage HA... soooo Oda does'nt kill hmm??? Oda uses fake deaths as emotionale manipulation???? Yea he heard that and took it personally. Literally over 10 years passed and I still sob. I'm just glad we got it behind us, since 1. ep I was worrying about this lol You actually said it a bunch of time, that you feel it coming that one day Luffy is gonna lose someone/-thing and I was just dying inside haha... also I could be wrong, but I thought the feather just symbolise the fact that Ace's will lives on in Luffy (maybe even Whitebeards??) Love this show, I do, but moments like this I'm like "fuck this. I'm out." what breaks me so bad is the fact that they made it. They got Ace and were running away and we still lost him like... why... and then Luffy breaking down??? Absolut the worst (not only shock but also his body crashing, when he started to cry, looking up I lost it all over again) and like, I appreciate Garp wanting to kill Aikanu and I bet if Aikanu actually managed to kill Luffy?? Garp would go berserk Thanks for reaction! Sorry for the hurt no comfort.

ive not yet watched this reaction and honestly im kinda scared to, its been a whiiiile since ive tortured myself by watching/reading this particular scene, and honestly im not looking forward to it. when i first read this, it really fucking ruined my week, like in real life. i was fucking devastated, i was a very emotional teenager and man...not fun. well i guess here goes nothing, and i hope youll recover from this sooner than i did back then haha

That was Ace's downfall, his inability to let go and not have his buttons pressed is what got him in the end, and it's so sad because it didn't have to be like this

Anytime someone gets to this part, I have this awful dread in my stomach because I know I'm going to watch it again. Nothing in this series makes me cry harder than episode 483/anything to do with the brothers. I am dehydrated from crying again. Fun fact, this is ranked #1 and Merry is down at #4 so like, buckle up for those things that haven't happened yet. To be fair I am categorizing it because being reminded of Ace at any point makes me cry just as hard, and mourning is painful no matter how you slice it. My body was not ready for this. Hugs are indeed free today if you need 'em.

Ive re-watched One Piece atleast 5 times and I just now noticed the feather dropping over Whitebeard onto Ace's bead and then flew to Luffy's chest..

And here is why Oda goes out of his way not to kill characters..... it means when he does finally pull that plug, it is all the more impactful. Also, he's too damn good at making his cry when he does it and he wants this to be a happy story in the end. But yeah, Whitebeard.... if you are going to take out a legend like that, this is how you do it, have him go out like an utter chad giving a huge middle finger to the assholes in the government second only to Rogers!

i've always wondered if whitebeard bein strong add or multiplies the strength of his eq fruit. like could usopp create tsunamis with it or would it just be like a lil ground rumble

I'm so, so happy you didn't get spoiled for this. Ace's death is pretty much THE spoiler for One Piece, and I've seen so many reactors who knew about it before they even started watching. And you have my respect for tackling these four episodes at once. That's an emotional gut punch right there.
