Ohhhhh these reaction are SO GOOD! And, just think, all this hype and all these hits it's already giving you? This is just how this arc opens! Buckle up, this ride gets insane! As to wanting more story here, doubt we'd get any Whitebeard stuff till after the end since it would likely have some spoilers for events we have yet to find out about, but there is a series of Light Novels detailing Ace's adventures in between leaving on his journey and meeting Whitebeard. But no you can't read then yet.

No I've beaten Bloodborne, and have played the first Dark Souls. It's a lot of fun so far, enjoying the exploration. PC version has been janky though. Lots of frame drops and several crashes.

There's actually a 4-chapters (45 pages-ish each) spin-off of Ace's story, drawn by Boichi, Dr Stone's artist. You can't read though, it contains spoilers. And if you don't want to get spoiled about some characters' designs, you can't even read it bevore being almost caught up! There are novels about Ace as well, but I don't know much about them. I think they're considered canon.

aah man one piece is so good, ive not watched or read marineford in a good while. and there are some characters we see in this arc that so far arent really characters we know yet at this point, but being caught up on the manga i absolutely love them now and seeing them here is such a cool feeling. its like - seeing bon clay in alabasta when knowing what an absolute fucking amazing person he is later on!!

I had to go back and rewatch your reaction to the "father revealed" moment! The expressions as your mental gears were going into overdrive are exactly why I like seeing reactions to this story! And then Big Poppa Whitebeard shows up, and basically goes, "So, either you give back Ace, or I sink Marineford. Deal?" Also, if you rewatch the reveal scene, you'll notice the chanting in the background that was used as Roger's light motif. Kind of a nice touch.

We all know there are no women on the internet ;) So I actually created a Patreon account just to support your content and since I was just rewatching all episodes from the start, I never cared about the early access perk before. However, I just love how genuinely stoked you are right now and I'm really glad that I got into Patreon, because I really want to see you through all the craziness that's about to unfold in "real time" now! Blackbeard is definitely a lying-ass bitch when he wants to be, but he definitely wasn't lying when Ace was talking to him about the position. Dude wants to be the Pirate King, not 2nd Commander under Whitebeard. He's "got no such ambition."
