yeah the scene with luffy stabbing his own face was not in the anime! i guess they thought it was...too brutal? or that kids would try to do that too? idk but it was definitely there from the start in the manga :)

oh and i definitely think the same voice actress is still voicing kid luffy, i think they just pitched her voice up a little bit? sounds like it to me at least
