Thriller Bark is a lot like Skypeia, in that it sort of feels like its own little thing separate from the rest of the story, and also it has a couple pacing issues in the second half. Still one of my favorite arcs though, the Scooby Doo vibes are 10/10 and there are some great fights!

LOL I was about to comment just that. This arc has taken you by surprise, mate. Quite off theories and I find that amusing; primarily because I think you feel that you actually are in this one (like, you are there with the strawhats experiencing as they do) instead of experiencing the story while analyzing it. Maybe because it's taken you back by the style to simpler times or maybe it's because you are not bombarded by that much relevant information in this one. I like to make hypothesis, lol.
