You're 3/10th's of the way through One Piece. The animation does get a bit rough at points cuz Toei decided they wanted a weekly series that runs non stop rather than just making it a seasonal anime and pushing out seasons every year and a half, the way MHA does it.

thanks for the reaction, warning that the 3rd episode is hard to hear you over the anime, and Asura (very simply) are HIndu demons. From wiki "In its Buddhist context, the word is sometimes translated "titan", "demigod", or "antigod"

the way you rolled your eyes at sanjis "god created food, but the devil created te spices" line, just in complete annoyance at how fucking badass and big-dick-energy-having that line was hheheh that got a good laugh outta me :D

Not exactly 'demons' they aren't evil, more the neutral faction between the Deva's 'good' and the Rakashas, 'evil' with some siding with either faction.

Oooof so much epic going on and your reactions are priceless! And yeah, that 'The Devil gave us spices' bit is one of the most badass lines ever. As to the giraffe question.... strong enough to easily lift over 500 pounds.

- Diable Jambe: "Diable" is devil in French, and "Jambe" is leg, so Devil Leg when you put it together (probably not grammatically correct). As with all Sanji move names, this is related to food, specifically spicy French dishes which are sometimes called "a la Diable". - "Premiere Hache" is French for first-rate mincemeat. - "Flambage" is flambé, the cooking technique with burning alcohol. - "God creates food... and the Devil creates spice. I guess I made it a little too spicy." Still one of the sickest lines Sanji's ever used. - Zorro's Nigiri (two-sword stance) moves are again sushi puns. This is the part that most saddens me about One Piece stuff lost in translation, that the show has Japanese puns left and right that don't translate well, and serious guy Zorro has moves that are either epic sounding or groan-inducing, depending on how you read it. - Toro (Tower Climb) is also a pricier, fatty cut of raw tuna for sashimi. - Otoro (Tower Climb Return) is the priciest, fattiest belly cut of tuna. - Hirameki (Flash) can also mean sushi buffet. - Samon (Ripple) is of course salmon, another common sashimi fish. - The whole bit with giraffe and gi-riff-raff is a good try by the translation team for something that's near-untranslatable. (I looked up the whole explanation of this gag, and it's long.) Apparently Kaku has a peculiar way of talking where he adds a "ja" particle to the end of his sentences like an old man (Luffy pointed this out way back in Water 7). The word for giraffe in Japanese is "kirin", and the word for a young prodigy is "kirinji", so Zorro tries to insult Kaku by calling him a "kirinja", Kaku completely misunderstands him, and it gets stupider from there. The conversation goes something like this: - Zoro: You damn "kirinja"! - Kaku: "Kirinja"? I am a kirin-ja! - Zoro: "Kirinja". - Kaku: That's wrong! I'm not a "kirinja"-ja! - Zoro: Shut up! Kirinja-ya-ja-ya... Stop rambling... I could care less! (even though Zoro started the whole thing)
