So on the question of if Robin can grow hands inside someone, no. The limit of her ability is that she has to be able to see where ever she's using her powers. Oh, Water 7 is good? Best reaction to the Enies Lobby intro ever. - That bit with Franky telling Robin her existence isn't a sin is one of my favorite quiet OP moments. Water 7 is such a tightly written story, and the way it introduces every one of Tom's important relations separately, goes back to show how they all were connected with Tom, and then comes back to justify how they act now, is an enormous amount of consequence and motivation squeezed into one arc. Not only that, but they managed to tie in some of Robin's backstory as well. What I particularly like about what Franky says is that it shows how much he's internalized what Tom told him and extended it more than Tom's focus on ships. After all, Tom was the one who told Franky and Iceberg that Robin was a danger in the first place, and while Iceberg took the danger part to heart along with his feelings about potentially dangerous weapons, Franky instead takes Tom's philosophy about ships and separates Robin from her bounty.

When Sogeking told Robin to believe in Luffy and you teared up, bitch you made me cry too and it also makes you one of my favorite people ever because that moment (and Franky telling Robin her existence isn't a sin) gets overlooked so often.

oh man, that "your existence is not a sin" is such a poignant phrase, even today in our real world. it makes me so emotional, bc as part of the lgbtq community - we get told a lot by stupid assholes that the fact that we are who we are is "wrong" or "a sin", and while fanky is of course talking about something a bit different, but oof it still hits the same!!!!
