Good News - the next comic page is assembled and ready for inks!

Bad News - with the end of the month - and a potential contract - approaching, I'm feeling like I'm up against a ticking clock.

The comic page and the Teddi & Monique image - which is already inked and partially colored - can be finished this weekend.  The question then is do I spend next week on the Lizzie comic, or attempting to get Daisy's face rig built?  Because once this contract starts, my personal 3D work will need to be pushed aside again...

As much as I would love for the Lizzie comic to be done, you should probably work on your 3D stuff while you can.

Well I mean, which would you enjoy working on more?

If your contract work is 3d, then i'd say to Daisy rigging to get back into the rigging mindset. Then, after the contract, do the comic to shake off the 2d cobwebs.

Thing is, I probably won't be rigging on this project. Mainly animating, and maybe skin weights.

hard to say. The rigging is more about getting it out of the way, or even just finding out if my ideas actually work.

And this all doesn't mean the Lizzie comic won't get done, just that it may not get finished next week.
