Just a heads-up, this week my plan is to focus primarily on 3D stuff.  There's a very short list of scripts for me to work on, and then my rigging tool can finally be put to use!  But while it will be animation-ready, it only partially does faces at the moment.  Fortunately I have two older models with functioning face rigs, that I could also test this tool on - Mary-Anne and Rose.

Of the two, Mary needs the most work.  Sooner or later I plan on completely remodeling her to match my current drawing style, but for now I'll settle for minor tweaks to her existing model.  Her legs were too long, her hands and feet too big, and her spine was arched too far back.  Thankfully these were easy fixes.  Her scale is also wrong - compared to Daisy, this old model would be 12 feet tall!  That too isn't hard to fix.  The real challenge will be keeping her face rig intact.  Mary will also help me to script a toe rig, since my gnome only has a single toe joint.

If I'm not done with the script and Mary or Rose updates by the end of the week, though, the those things will have to wait until after my next comic page is finished.  That thing won't draw itself!
