Comic update (Patreon)

Update #2 - over the past week and a half, I've been getting up to speed with this new job. And Thursday night, I started working on a script that I'm not even sure will get used, but hammering it out gave me quite the headache. And some time this coming week, I'll be starting for real.  What that means in terms of me finishing this page... doing the color and shading tomorrow might be overdoing it, but we'll see. 

Update - today feels like a series of "finallies". My contract finally started last week. The next page is finally fully drawn & assembled. Yesterday I was finally able to start freeing up the hard drive space that'd been completely consumed by this contract's project files. Today I'm finally able to put things back more or less how they were before downloading all of those files, so my computer is useful again...

How long inking and coloring this page may take, I can't say. Where I've only just started the contract, I don't yet have a list of what I'll be working on, but that could change as soon as Monday morning.

A few weeks later, I'm still waiting on my contract to be approved and signed, so I can get to work. Until then, I can't help but think about the plans I'd made, that in hindsight didn't need to be cancelled...

Getting back to the comic, looking over my original plan for the next page, I decided that the pacing could be tightened up.  I wondered if the next two pages could be combined into one, so I used existing art to lay it out. It all fits, so we'll be getting to the fun stuff a tiny bit sooner!
