With each new year, I normally know exactly what I hope to accomplish. For too many years in a row, the top items on my list have been finishing Daisy's 3D rig, and then animating her. Since I didn't do either of those things in 2020, they can be easily be recycled once again. Whether either of them will finally happen this year is also questionable...

Despite everything else, last year was my busiest in some time. I don't know yet what this year will look like, apart from last year's contract resuming soon.  The next few months, at least, could be more of the same - animating overly-complicated scenes with little direction, solving technical problems along the way, helping the rest of my team when things go wrong...  odds are, it'll be just as exhausting as much of 2020. Once the job does start back up, I'll keep my Patreon's billing paused.

One thing that stressed me out further last year, was that I'd come up with some topical comics that I didn't have the time or energy to draw, and probably won't be able to draw them until the pandemic is over, making them pointless.

At least one thing I plan on doing this year, is putting out some long-delayed stories as novellas. These are chapters focused on world-building, and in some cases character introductions, but that I haven't had much desire to draw, if I'm being honest. One of these is the follow-up I had planned for Toxic Candy, where Candice confronts her father. I've written several drafts of that story so far, but keep re-writing it because it turns out writing is fairly difficult.
