I've been back home for a week, but between drawing comic panels, waiting for this one contract to resume, and cursing Comcast, I'm still processing the photos from my trip. First the light & shadows need to be balanced out, and then the left/right pairs need to be aligned.

...That's one thing I started doing at the Grand Canyon - shooting left & right images in hopes of combining them into a stereo 3D image. So many of the sights need to be seen with your own eyes, because pictures simply do not do them justice. The depth and scale of it all...  you have to be there to truly appreciate it. This stereo images may not be the next best thing, but if nothing else they were a fun experiment.

Viewing these images can be tricky, and make no mistake - they will strain your eyes. To view them, they should be full screen - the bigger the screen, the better. Focus on the center line, and cross your eyes until the two images overlap. If you do it right, your eyes should lock onto the images, allowing you to see the depth!
