April Update (Patreon)

Image packs should be posted tomorrow.  I've been a bit busy with other things...

As I type this, my brain feels like a well-used punching bag.  For the past two days I've been doing R&D for this contract.  The client was supposed to provide us with the tool they use to rig there characters, but now it looks like that won't happen any time soon.  That means we're relying on my own tools, and my tools are not only not production-tested, but they won't wouldn't work for this project as-is.  So I've been cobbling together something we CAN use.

With the contract finally moving forward, I'm left wondering what the rest of the month will look like, in terms my own artwork.  It's not like I'll have a ton of animations to do for this first character, but I don't know when the next character will be put into production.  Worst case scenario, I have no time for anything else, in which case I'll turn off billing before the end of the month.

One thing I would like to do after I get back up to speed with my animations, is open up my commission list so folks can use some of the points they've stored up.  That could be at least a couple of weeks out, though.  I haven't animated in several months, and getting back into it will be rough...
