Checking In (Patreon)

First thing's first - my campaign & Discord server are now linked!  The Discord is still a work in progress, though.  The main things that need to be tested are the patron-specific channels, particularly for spoilers & suggestions.  To access patron-only channels, you'll need to connect to Discord account through your Patreon account settings.  Going forward, I may post these status updates in my announcements channel.

As I type this, the contract I've been working on all month is more or less complete!  I'd posted about my frustrations with this job over a week ago, but this past week wasn't any less stressful.  For the first two weeks, I was able to use video reference of myself acting out the actions.  This week, that wasn't an option.  Using video as a crutch didn't help me shake the cobwebs off, and the type of creature and the number of controls only made things worse.  But at least it's now over!

There may not be time for me to relax, though - we've just got another small contract that will keep me busy for another couple of weeks.  On one hand this is great because of how sparse the work has been all year, but on the other hand, it throws off my drawing schedule.  At the very least, I want to get this current comic wrapped up by the end of the month, but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to crank it out entirely this weekend.
