Sorry for the late update guys! Had a bit of trouble with the pacing once again. I had to remove a scene because I struggled so much with it. You'll likely notice it during a black background, but I plan to expand on it before the public release. I tried to check for typos, but I'm sure I missed some  (as usual), so feel free to let let me know and I'll get them fixed before the public release. Also, despite the title, this is not the last update. There will be a few more, as you'll soon find out!

I loved this update even tho I’m more furious at Cato now. He just had to ruin everything... but hopefully things will be ok in the next update... I hope

Jesus Christ that escalated fast. I once compared experiencing these updates to riding a roller coaster, but this one really sent us through a loop and then off the rails. I already can't wait to see how you emotionally torture me in the next update. Great work!

Taking deep breaths, having to hold back tears, hearing that music when opening the game, waiting so long, I'm just so happy its back. You did a beautiful job...then again I don't need to say that but I want to. The scenes flow very nicely, almost refined, they feel actually genuine. Happy scenes made me smile (I don't naturally smile so great job), sad scenes make me choke up, intimate moments make my heart flutter and thoughts float, tense situations stops my breathing as I try to hold it in (probably bad to stop breathing but its too great to not feel something strong). Keep up the great work, but don't forget to take it easy, don't stress out while working on the project. Taking your time might make it slow but a patient creator is not only healthy but happy knowing their work is being done properly. I'm glad Adastra is back and I hope it continues to go so well and my same hopes for the others too. Take care...I'll post my checks below

Alright, after visiting Amicus, we are in the garden and talking about how its easier to say goodbye you forgot an "is" after Cassius (...Cassius is willing...). Another in the next scene about Cato (, which is good,). When Neferu breaks down and we walk over to him we walk over and stand to his side you have an extra letter (siden). When we finally talk to him the second sentence doesn't start capitalized (This whole thing...). When we bring up Alex to Neferu he says we can't trust him you forgot the word say (All I can say is don't trust him.) When we go to confront Cassius with Virginia she talks about it being illegitimate but you forgot the word is (...we all know that this is illegitimate...).

Poor Cassius, is he really dead? that would be sad if he died, since I would prefer it if he lived.. And the reaction Alex gave to his poisoning, I guess Alex does love him, even if he is partly responsible for it happening.

Alexios really is getting what he deserves here, tbh, even if it was at Cassius' expense. He played both sides but in the end the only one who really got played was him.

Gunna be honest haven't played through since ver.8 love the story too scared to see how it plays out gunna push through it though love the characters and the story still gatta get through Echo as the smoke room has a vice grip on my attention now great work keep it up proud of you XD

I am absolutely smitten with this story! This is stellar writing and character development. But it looks like we're in the final stretch here. I know I'm a late joiner to this wonderful project, so I don't have the same time invested as others to make requests, but.... I beg you, please, PLEASE give this story a happy ending! I've already fallen in love with these characters and the setting, and my poor heart can't take the ache a sad finale would hammer into it. So please, think of the children, or puppies, or kittens, or whatever you need to think of to give this mopey graymuzzle a sliver of hope! (But seriously, thank you all for making such a heartfelt creation, I can hardly wait to see what's next!)

HOWLY HOW COULD YOU D: for once I actually feel bad for Cassius I always knew Cato was a bastard. Never liked him one bit, shady bastard! I hope this story has a good ending :'( otherwise I might just cry a river!

Okay, i only discovered this story very recently but good lord it has taken my breath away. I didn't think I'd become so invested but I have. And I'm not just invested in the story of Amicus either, I'm invested in Adastra, in the politics of the planet. I am so in love with Amicus, and this story is breaking my heart in ways o did not expect. I can tell thst this story is going to be one that affects me deeply, long after it's over. This gay, furry visual novel has better characterization and world building than anything else I've seen this year. I rarely find something so emotionally gripping, with such three-dimensional characters. But also an experience that truly emulates what it feels like to love and to be loved in return.

Not only are there twists and turns I did not expect with these updates, but I generally feel tense when updates like this happens, and I have never read a piece of writing ever do that to me, the writing makes these characters feel real, the art style is very unique with having very strong emotions being shown on the characters no matter what the situation, and the music is phenomenal and helps add to the atmosphere to the current scene. Hope to see a sequel when all is said and done. Keep up the GREAT work!

So, I like the story and the update, the political manipulations and each of the characters are really good. Bu I feel that the relationship between you and Amicus is too forced. I like him but the lack of choice in how the relationship goes really took me out of the stakes of the story since it feels like every couple of lines I'm head over heels for someone I personally didn't fancy too closely. In other words, while I know it is really late into the development and that the goal now probably is to see it through, I feel as a reader the connection lacked a personal choice to it. I think the bond the two of you share could still be doable, just that the romance to me is feeling unneeded and even unnecessary. Maybe its just me, but I would like to see some more relationship options for him, later or edited before where you can decide the exact situation you two are in more closely.

Wow, all i have to say is, what the hell is wrong with cato. (besides everything) i dont know what you plan on for the future of this game. but i'm glad i dont, i like surprises. i hope it ends happily, but i'm pretty sure there's to be even more conflict before it gets there. I really want to save adastra. i like being that shining light of hope in someones eyes. even if he's only in a game. :3

My guess is that palace security needs to be managed manually because COM isn't actually sapient, hence the security profiles. I would also say that these profiles are specifically for drone targeting, since COM was still able to lock the MC in Amicus' room, and is clearly still able to communicate with him. Like, COM probably recognizes that Cato wants the MC as a prisoner, but is just unable to target him with the drones.
