It’s pretty much the 10 year anniversary of working in my first film,

Found this gem, This was taken on my first film, Big Mommas House 3. This was the trailer I had for the fatsuits I was responsible for. I dressed and take care of #2 (brandon Jackson) and Martin Lawrence photo double. At the time I was working for a Fine Art Mold maker as his apprentice and one of our clients was the SPX Makeup Artist supervisor, and he needed someone to be the specialty costumer for the fat suits. Due to my Cosplay experience he thought I would be good at the job even though I knew NOTHING about Set etiquette or terminology.

It was bananas but I made it through and loved it. granted it wasn’t steady for the first couple years, other then a few gigs here and there, i couldn’t find work and I got super bummed. I continued as a mold maker as well as for my comic artist friend, when we got the incentive came to GA it got a bit easier To find work cause there weren’t that many specialty locals, especially people who could do shop and set.

I love cosplay to much to give it up, but I also understand there is a shelf life and I need a back up plan. Now my film work is pretty steady and I try to juggle cons and making costumes and life with my 12+ hour days on set. Don’t get me wrong, I hate the hustle, I won’t cultivate firendships that atrent genuine to get a job and I was the same when it came to cosplay. I’m sure that’s but me in the ass but I want to have sincere, meaningful relationships. So I appreciate your patience with slow new content :)

Always Going to wrap this up and head to bed!!
