I am so in love with these beautiful images my friend Mida Mae shot of me back in Colombia! Right before the pandemic hit... I was not aware this would be my last international trip for a long time...

***Freakin Out***

Well, sometimes living in a van really freaks me out. I don't know how many of you reading this are in the PNW, but there is a huge hazardous smoke cloud engulfing us today. When Travis and I saw the news articles online with the warning... I started freaking out a little. 

The smoke is from Cali & Oregon and here... it's been blowing south and east until now, a new direction of wind is bringin it all up to my hometown. A few years ago I remember my grandma was choking on the smoke... shortly before she passed away. This smoke is supposed to be much more intense and hazardous. I am normally not worried about my actual lungs and health in regard to the smoke... because I have a very resilient body... but this time the amount of fires happening (apparently worse than the past 5 years of fires combined?!) is causing me anxiety... partly because I am more exposed to the elements living in this van. 

I am grateful that I can drive north if I have to to try to get to higher elevation... for now I am plugged in in front of Trav's mom's place, running AC and keeping the windows closed. Please send positive vibes for us here on the west coast. Its kinda scary...
