Well, we might not know the exact girl yet, but we know for sure that she will be an Inventor/Tech-Nerd. Before we pick out who the lucky girl will be, lets take a side step to pick out exactly what will be done to her.

Traditional Hypnosis: Pocket watches and Pendulums. The things you associate with hypno stage shows. They are favorites for a reason after all.

Brainwashing Tech/Machine: Spiral screens, hypnotic helmets, or any other devious, mind scrambling, device or set up. One thing is for sure: This brainwashing is going to stick. 

Magic: Mystic spells or perhaps even possession. With magic, there are little limits to how a mind or body and be manipulated and transformed.

Hypnotic accessory: Maybe a form of tech or magic, but with one important distinction. When the accessory is removed, the control is likely to fade away, even if not immediate.
