Okay, here is another not-teaser, dear readers, before I begin another arduous day of writing in a grimdark galaxy.

But before that, I must speak of a subject closely related to a certain Heresy.

The Siege of Terra series is finally over, with the third book of The End and the Death published.

I have read it.

As always, there have been parts I dearly enjoyed, and parts I wanted to tear my hair out in frustration. (insert sounds of teeth grinding here, please).

So much potential, so many interesting plotlines...and so many gigantic flaws that gives me the urge to slam several heads against a wall. Ahem.

Anyway, I have a good practise for this, the same I applied for the entire Heresy books timeline, alas: I will take what I feel to be the salvageable parts, and ignore the rest. It's a good thing a certain company isn't at my beck and call, I can tell you...

Anyway.

Writing progresses well for 13-2, so here is another not-teaser. Today you get enthusiastic arachnids, and a conversation I'm sure many have waited eagerly: who is now among the Top 10 of bounties?

Great update! I feel Catachan's true population of 12 billion for a Dead World can be a bit ... too large? I think 1.2 billion would be a more reasonable number, especially with how deadly the planet is.

Do we know how big Catachan is relative to a known planet like an Earth size death planet could never host 12 billion in my mind but a planet say 20 times the size could probably host the population with some difficulties but still possible
