Okay, I think I've answered a few of the questions on the previous not-teaser's comments section, so...here we go for another one!

This time it is the first 22,000 words. I honestly don't know if there won't be another one before the full not-chapter is ready. I guess we will see...as a certain Jack Sparrow proved, sometimes it is key to improvise.

Also regarding the schedule, my muses are pleading that I begin December with a combo of The End of Times and An Impractical Guide to Godhood, followed by one chapter of The odds were never in my favour. Decision has not been taken for good, but the muses insist...

Err...I think that's all I wanted to say for the moment. Stay safe, safe warm, hide from the wrath of Aeolus, who believes cold winds are the thing to throw at me where I live.

And enjoy the not-teaser!

Wow an STC with about 900 to 1000 already, love to see what will come from this. But I guess since one of them had a password, it will take some time before all are able to be used. Also the Wrought, I wonder if it will impact the Iron hands due to their actions in the Heresy when Dennis reach it or if he finds an Artifact of Vulken.

Sounds like they got alot of templates to colonise a new planet.

Great read as always, can’t wait for more. Also I was fully expecting the STC they got the emps password for to be a gag or joke with some small useful part lol. Like a new coat of gold armor paint for his custodes. Because we all know that in the universe of warhammer the only battle that matters is that of drip

Thanks for the not teaser. I've got one question that has been bothering me for a bit. When discussing the mothballed ships it was commented that older ships were of lower quality. We have heard that several times in the last couple of chapters. But that shouldn't be true. The Imperium has been losing tech not advancing. Older ships ought to be better than new ones because they are built with better technology. I can see reasons that might not be true of mothballed ships but it has been stated as true in general. What is going on here? Taylor has not made enough progress to have changed this trend yet.

I'm wondering if the Mars Mechanicus are willing to swallow their pride and ask Cawl for his planet moving tech --- surely there's room for another planet in the Nyx system....

As for the numbers regarding Agri Hives, I think Agri Hives must be smaller than a standard hive and act as subsidiary hive to a typical hive since if Agri Hive to be the same size as normal hive then the food production would be too small, considering even some modern hydroponic technique can produce more than that per space.

Antony444

They are a bit smaller, yes. The Agri-Hives compensate that by requiring more technology on the average square kilometer than a non-Agriculture Hive. On the other hand, they're self-sufficient and can feed other people on a Hive World, which will naturally make them popular in the Imperium at large.

I thought the horde of Rouge Traders would have left towards the core, or at least probed routes into said core. I am more interested in the fact that Weaver traps work, a lot of attention will go to the Navy depots, which could untie certain Navy hands as long as they got the Inquisitor's backing. That and selling the bad hulls to be recycled could allow the Navy to expand where it is needed. I was under the impression that the STC findings are starting to cause the forge worlds to start trading tech more, when they make alliances to buy the STC's.
