It took longer than I wanted, but here is the chapter 110 of The odds were never in my favour, Civil's War End.

And yes, after much deep thinking, I can say finishing the fourth year in four chapters looks to have been...exaggeratingly optimistic. 

Oh, well.

The writing will continue no matter how contrary the tides...

Oh, and yes, I am now going to work on the new chapter of An Impractical Guide to Godhood. There's some preparations to be done before, of course, but hopefully it shouldn't take too long.

The big battles are fun, but watching the political fallout is always the best part. The new factions that are forming, the tattered remains of factions that are trying to scrabble, now adding in the the muggle side that will have to reconcile with the magical side is almost enough to give one a headache. Part of any power or title is the people’s acquiescence to the leadership of said person in power. It’ll be fun to watch both magic and muggle scrabble to collect and maintain any power. Watching Alexandra pout about not being able to kill all her enemies and having Lucrezia be voice of reason is new. I’m guessing this has to be because she’s tied to a different plane? Lyudmila is going to be there to throw spanners in all the machines, but it is nice to know that she can be reasoned with if the situation comes down to life or death -mainly hers. I wonder if in the coming task(s) a ritual might see Death finally finding a new plane to be tied to as well? To neatly complete the story arch? If so, bets on which one? Also, bets on Lyudmila’s first big act of chaotic destruction and showmanship on the world stage! Ignoring being daddy’s favorite mad attack dog doesn’t count…

Thanks for the chapter. I thought it spent a lot of words to say very little. Lots of it seemed to be written specifically to tell us there is something here you don't know while keeping us from figuring out what we don't know. The only surprise for me was that the Tournament is going to continue. I expected the rest of the tournament to be cancelled. This makes me think the Exchequer has another seal they really really want to trigger. I'm very nervous about what it might do.
