I have completed and sent the unbetaed chapter of the story-which-shall-not-be-named here to the betas on Sunday evening, and I have been assured everything is doable for a December update (the exact date of the release is a secret only known to the Inquisition).

With (for the moment) 155 pages long and 56000 words, it will be the last update of 2021 (because I may begin a new chapter before my birthday, but I certainly won't finish it that year).

I am going to go on other projects now, certainly An Impractical Guide to Godhood (though I will need to take a day or two of rest before that).

As for the update-book which shall not be mentioned, 500 of you will have it this morning (it's morning for me at least) and the rest will have it tomorrow.

I remember to all faithful citizens cursing the author, while logical when being introduced to new information, won't be enough to protect you from the wrath of the Interrogator-chaplains. Speaking of which...Asmodai! Make them repent!

Seriously, Antony? What do you have against the Smurfs? SERIOUSLY? And wow, what a Wham Ep, and thanks

Rockinalice

I loved seeing The hint about what the Anatolian son's true nature did the video sent inspire it or did you already have the idea and where just waiting for the right time to drop the hint I love the lore about all the Abominations that threaten the universe all basically come from the Frogs And them creating WMD's without thinking about the long term consequences of them I love how the star gods are Portrayed and how some of them view Taylor and are interested To see if she can reach her true potential While others want to stop her

Defination of Hell for Astartes and their Primarchs, Fenris and Macragge sharing the same system, just close your eyes for a minute and imagine the most anarchistic and undisiplined (outside battle) Astartes sharing living space with the most uptight and conservative Astartes in excistence

Anonymous

For certain definitions of 'live'... wait and see. There's always the gravitic corridor to move worlds right back,

Taylor is truly the Queen of Motherfucking Escalation and I pity your poor beta readers :)

Antony444

You're welcome. And to repeat, I have nothing against certain Chapters...but Anarchy certainly does.

Antony444

To be fair to certain amphibians, when you see the star-devouring abomination coming to eat you one kilometre away, it is very hard to care what the consequences will be long-term; after all, you won't be there to see it anyway...thanks for the support!

Antony444

Ha! Ha! It's true they have...quite some work ahead of them. Now where are the Commissars?

Anonymous

... and we still don't know the name of her new sword.

Gabriel Meadow

Well, this surpassed all possible expectations for escalation. Bravo, Antony. Now you've left us begging for more right away.

Antony444

I will reveal it next chapter...at least the first name she intends to give it, unlike the Adrathic pistol, it may change.

Antony444

Thanks a lot! Yeah, I suppose the readers are going to clamour for more...

I might be kinda alone here, but I almost want a breather episode or interlude. I miss reading about Taylor dealing with 'small-scale' problems, like clearing out corruption, hanging out with people that don't want to kill her, dealing with common crime, or intimidating nobles. Recent chapters have all been focused on preparing for war, or fighting a war. Perhaps, after personally facing down all 3 surviving Chaos Gods at once, I guess every problem seems insignificant to her now... Also, she's probably too powerful and shiny to be going around handling more mundane issues. Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing Taylor grow and fix the Imperium. I don't mean the plot or pacing is bad in any case. I hope I communicated my point across.

Dominic

Well that was certainly a thing. Cheaters gonna cheat I guess.

wel thats some interesting twist's will be fun to see them play out looking forward to seeing the fate of magnus perhaps as punishment have him clean up lisa's litter box for the rest of his life while wearing ultra smurf blue ^^ fun time seeing the first nid being released think that NR1 is not going to stay at 1

Boris Michenski

Well, first Taylor will have to fight what's left of Black Crusade (but now she probably has a crushing advantge in firepower on them) and kill UltaBigBeast. Then she will have to deal with Primarchs (not sure how many) and UltaSmurphs who won't be happy to see two new planets in their system... And after she could take a breater... and start to deal with her new charges. Very blue charges.

Nicholas

We have a tyranid under Catachan and a tyranid under Fenris. I'm betting there is one on each of the 10 famous death worlds. I'm betting they are in contact with each other and thus have all just woken up. They might manage to kill this one, although the fact that there is a count of tyranids in the system is not a good sign. I'm pretty sure the rest of them are going to escape though, probably after eating their current home. Thanks for the chapter!

Antony444

For the record, not every extreme Death World in the galaxy (colonised by the Imperium or not) has a Tyranid life-form hiding somewhere near the surface. But on Fenris and Catachan, there definitely was one.

Well now we have 1 Cawl, 1 Elder Super Witch and 1 Imperial Saint. Looks like Papa Smurf is going to wake up in some interesting times.

Kioras

Interesting is that Malal sounded steadily more insane and unhinged the closer he got to apotheosis as a Chaos Tumor. Once he got his goal he was a lot less sane sounding, he was merely a color commentator at the start. You can trust the Star Gods to be more sane, if just as ambitious. They have to work with hard physics.

Antony444

Anonymous Eldar: I have to kiss this huge Mon-keigh and he will wake up? Please tell me it's a joke...

Antony444

That's because he was. The more chaotic power you get, the greater the insanity...and it doesn't help that right now the overwhelming part of Malal's powerbase is Skaven. And yes, the C'Tan are somehow more sane...unfortunately they also are more the kind 'emotionless, let's play with the mice' which is really looking cruel from the point of view of their 'subjects'. At least they don't have the chaos corruption devouring them from the inside.

Anonymous

I for one really enjoyed Anarchy despite it getting increasingly insane. Will we get some insight into First Daemon Princess of Malal? ;)

Antony444

Of course! I have not created her just to abandon her when things begin to be interesting...(evil grin)

Sorry was just rereading the chapter again and spotted something that seems to be an error unless you have changed things in the Lion Heresy TL. The former guardsman’s (now Tau military member) remembers the Imperial Fists from Titre day who are a traitor legion in the LH TL unless you have decided to change that.

Antony444

Mhh...that's a good point, I may have changed it to the Iron Warriors for the future beta-ing.

Guilherme Bezerra

Rereading the chapter, more like small book with that page count, I really enjoyed how the whole Black Crusade ended. I honestly think this is the first time ever I have seen Chaos get so screwed in the middle of their plans. Just want to ask if Weaver is gonna meet the Primarchs next chapter and how she is gonna compare them to Dorn? Also wanna ask why you didn't involve the Rock so another Primarch could get involved? Too many Primarchs perhaps? Last and most important of all: Where is my favorite Slayer of all times? Are they gonna show up in this Arc at all or are Leet and Borek coming along later ?

Anonymous

So I finally got time to catch up on the last couple chapters and had couple random thoughts stuck in my head afterwards. Heres a few. The first was that Emperor was trying a successor project to the Primarchs, by combining the warp entities/powers/concepts that were used to make the Primarchs with a parahuman chassis and developing the Shards into limited single-power Entities, to the point where they can absorb C'Tan shards like the Entities do and eventually eat an entire C'Tan. In effect, a mini warp AND a material God, manifested in a physical body to make them compatible and friendly to humans in case of former, and made possible through parahuman Shards being capable of using c'tan level quantum power reality bullshit while SOMEHOW not being anti-warp in case of later. Thus hopefully finally finishing up the war in heaven and its consequences, uplifting humanity through a combined mastery of warp and materium, bla, bla. So I thought ok, is Dragon supposed to eventually get Ferrus's ghost, Sophia to start nomming on the Nightbringer, and Missy the Outsider? The first is maybe passable, meh. Ferrus power for some reason worked well with cyborgs so that maybe Dragons fake body can actually be a fit for it. The other two....The Nightbringer had darkness, murder and fear as its most obvious powers, and Outsider had weird fractal space bending powers among other things. But thats just too crazy to work. Outsider's powers extend waaay beyond just space and would drive Missy insane, and while Nightbringer sort of fits Sophia, its way too powerful for Sophia's shard to even get started. Even if she somehow got another primarch to feed it on top of whatever the Emperor and Corvus already did to her. It was a minor shard and Emperor/primarchs thing is primarily the warp and cant develop the shard directly. So I thought meh, whatever, my mind wandered further. What would TTS Emperor do? And then the truth was revealed to me, clear as day. Dragon, Weaver, Sophia, Missy. They are all waifus, arent they. Emperor is grooming a harem of goddesses, isnt he. Yup, thats exactly how it is. Therefore the theory must actually be true. P.S. Poor Leet. I'm afraid his ultimate fate is dragon food. Void Dragon is mostly whole as far as I know and only has few loose shards, eating him would be hard unless Dragons shard-entity is more developed too. Leet's shard fits. Plus hes a dude. Just saying. As for Contessa, she and possibly Simurgh will somehow be tied to Deceiver and some of the more spy/precog related primarchs. Hard to say. But if what we've seen so far holds, if she doesnt go rogue shes gonna get boosted at some point. -------------- The other one was me thinking about the Dragon/Void Dragon meeting and I cant get this image out of my head: Dragon is acting like a scrawny Digganob covered in green paint and with a huge fake jaw rolling up to the biggest baddest Ork and saying hes an ork cultur admirer but shes more proppa orky than him and she should be the warboss now. Its sort of the same both in terms of power level/domain, a cosplayer AI claiming to be dragony to the actual dragon, and the fact that in 40k Void Dragon is THE thing dragon qualities are measured after. VD is not just someone fascinated by the mythology and aesthetics of dragons, by virtue of being the first to take this shape he IS the default dragon. He's not modelled after a dragon, He and Dragon is one and the same. Its a form that he adopted without any preexisting concepts and meanings behind it other than he thought it fit him. Any meanings attached to the shape and behavior in 40k were later modeled after him (gonna ignore warp time and multiverse bullshit for now, from the pov of a Ctan thats how it was). If Nightbringer was somehow able to define the concept of death/reaper in 40k, he defined the dragon concept. At least I think thats how it went, I known Old Ones had some dragon things too but I doubt Void Dragon would agree to take the form of some Old Ones servant creature if they existed before he got his physical body. So anyway, Dragon is in effect saying "Yo Mag'ladroth, I'm better Dragon/Mag'ladroth than you, you are a fake!". Its sort of like claiming that something is more proper at being water than water...like, conceptually...something is more watery, flowy, wet, etc., than water, and therefore water is no longer qualified to be water from now on. Shit like that COULD actually work in the warp. Imagine a cultist coming up to the original Cthulhu and saying hes a better looking Cthulhu than him and therefore its time for him to retire. Funny, but if he actually beats somehow him and usurps his power, then yeah hes a new Cthulhu. However for a fully material creature like a C'Tan, the absurdity must be amazing. Claiming that some liquid is better at water than water wont change its parameters and make it true. For Void Dragon he is him, THE dragon, period, thats what he is. Someone claiming to be more proper at being him than him, is ridiculous on several levels. In addition, a warp entity might actually legitimately feel wronged by someone trying to usurp and claim its domain power from it. In case of ctan though, it doesnt matter. To use Nightbringer as an example - someone usurping the concept of death imprinted onto the warp by all the creatures he killed...wouldnt really affect its actual power in the slightest. There are some secondary effects on food quality becoming less spicy due to reduced fear, but thats as far as it goes. So in this situation a reasonable creature would ignore the ignorant idiot not worth your time, but... This is where we get to the personal level, because C'Tan are in addition to the above are egotistical as fuck. And here you are falsely trying to steal its personal identify and claim his prestigious glory/legend as your own, to its face. In short, Void Dragon be mad someone is shitposting on it. The billions of years old cosmic powers Endless Swarm and Void Dragon are effectively just THAT petty to be personally insulted to be point of uncontrollable anger and outrage that a first random 30yo meatbag on the street (given their experience?...thats what Weaver is) had the audacity to claim to be better than them at being them. Necrontyr did and amazing job with them is all I can say.
