Yes, I have to admit that absence of Astartes is somehow striking and sad. On the other hand they do now have Knights, which is something. By the way, what happened to Ouralia, I don't think it was ever mentionned.

It's also a security net and an incitation to Governors to rule wisely. Of course there are the Fay regiments and the Knights...Ouralia's reason it's not inhabited may be mentioned later.

So I always wanted to ask this. Have you ever thought of doing a version of this where ultramarine does not manage to interrupt the spell at the start

Yes, I did back in the planning stage...and it was far too grimdark for my poor brain. Taylor would have 'served' Chaos trying her best to take everything with her in the cauldron of destruction, and well...this story has no happy ending.

I don't know if you've said anything before, but is there any chance of you going back and doing some typo correction for the first twenty or so chapters of the Weaver Option? I can barely stand to go back and read them because I barely got through it the first time. only the quality of the story and characterizations kept me going. The typos were... Exceedingly painful and I realize English is not your first language so congratulations on getting as good as you have. But those early chapters definitely need a little love.
