This week was really busy, both in real life and writing. As I said before, I began writing on Muster 6.3 and it's going well for the moment. I've reached 13 000 words so far. I might post a teaser on it in a few hours.

This is not this update. As usual for the start of every month (well, we're the 9nth but still...) here is the unbeta-ed chapter of the odds were never in my favour, Chapter 64, Christmas and Snakes.

That ending.... Makes no sense. The founders could imprison the Nidhogg. The damned World Serpent from Norse Mythology? And imprisoned it BENEATH A SCHOOL? I'm sorry, that's stupid. That is really, really stupid. Not just for the impossibility of it, but the fact the story is now set up for the WORLD SERPENT to burst out of Hogwarts foundation. As if there's anyone who could stop it. Which there isn't. You have those moments your Suspension of Disbelief cracks and shatters in a story, this is it. This is that moment. The most powerful dragon ever was somehow imprisoned beneath a school by 4 not-merlin/Morgrane level magic users. Exchequere coming to the rescue would be even DUMBER than it already is. The bad guys save the day! There isn't a word in any language in existence to describe how exasperated I am with this. It's this, of all the little and large things that eat away at me about your stories, that has broken my metaphorical back. Rescinding the like!

Isn't Jormungandr the World Serpent from Norse Mythology that was born of Loki to fight Thor at Ragnarok? Níðhöggr is the serpent who gnaws at the roots of Yggdrasil, the tree of life.

Yes, the Norses...included his name in their mythology after a few shocking and destructive incidents.
